Password complexity requirements

Intero Integrity Services has a password policy that requires you to create your password using the following complexity criteria:


Passwords must:

  • Be a minimum of fourteen (14) characters in length
  • Contain a least one (1) character from three (3) of the following categories:
    • Uppercase letter (A-Z)
    • Lowercase letter (a-z)
    • Number (0-9)
    • Special character (~!@#$%^&*_-+=`|\(){}[]:;"'<>,.?/)


Passwords must not:

  • Have been used in your last ten (10) passwords
  • Contain words in the banned password list*


*The banned password list contains a list of words that cannot be used in a password. The list contains known weak or compromised passwords as wel as terms specific to our company and industry such as brand names, product names, office locations and Intero specific internal terms and abbreviations.
