To create a local Solidworks Vault:
- Click Start > All Programs > SOLIDWORKS PDM > View Setup.
- In the View Setup wizard, click Next.
- Click Add, type the server name (see video), then click OK.
- Select the Vault and click Next.
- On the Select location page Under Attach location, browse to a folder on your local computer for the file vault file.
- Click Next, Finish, then click Close.
