How to compress images

Sometime sending certain images via email or uploading them to a website isn't possible due to size restrictions.

These images need to be compressed to reduce its dimensions or file size. 

Follow these steps to compress an image file:

• Right-click the image file
• Choose Open With, then Photos

• Expand the Menu by clicking on the three dots (...).
• Click Resize

• Choose an appropriate size/quality. 

• Enter a new file name and save the resized/compressed image (Note: be careful not to overwrite the original image).

Note the difference in file size. The 'Resized' version is much smaller.
